Gesher Summer Camp

Mission Statement

Gesher’s mission is to provide a fun, educational, spirited and supportive community welcoming to all Jewish children, regardless of their religious background.  Our primary goal is to help our campers develop through informal education, teaching them life lessons through every activity they participate in. We infuse our programs with opportunities for our campers to lead by example, take healthy risks, and participate in good sportsmanship.  Our staff is trained to guide the campers at their age-appropriate levels, helping them achieve our goals. We do this by initiating challenging and rewarding group activities, encouraging camp and community service projects, nurturing friendships formed at camp, and forming a bond with each individual camper.  The general Modern Orthodox religious and Zionistic principles of the Joseph Kushner Hebrew Academy are also incorporated, fostering a positive Jewish atmosphere filled with culture and customs.
